Jester, Flower Girl and VK T-Shirt Designs

For my own delight I am designing t-shirts that, if I had the money, I would make available to you all. I don't know how many shirt designs I will make, but I would like everyone's opinions. Would you even wear this? If not, what would you change?



I thought of writing some sort of catch phrase, like the Hot Topic's Lilith shirt, "Don't pull my strings." However, I don't know that it is necessary.

I hope to design a Flower Girl and a Visual Kei shirt next. What character would you wear as a shirt? (I am not designing a Lilith or Goth shirt, since there have been shirts of these girls on the market already.)

EDIT: Now that I have made those...I'll try a Ragdoll and Saccharine....and possibly....hmmmm Alise.

On other news, I have only one more poem to write for the PM book, which seems a more realistic goal than getting shirts made.

I'm working on Flower Girl as I speak. I'm liking it so far. ^^

I like flowergirl and vkei... but something about jester doesn't ring with me.

I really like vkei design... though I probably wouldn't buy any of them because character drawings is not what I look for in t-shirts. :P *hasn't owned a character shirt since Minnie Mouse at Disneyland at 8 years old? or so*

Oooh, I'm glad that someone really likes the VK design. Does the orange bother you? (Someone mentioned that it bothered them, but I like it...so just wondering)

Hmmmm, I'll have to work on the Jester one then. Do you think it is b/c the 'belts' are drawn and not real?

The orange would only bother me logically since I'm sure you won't be able to start with an orange t-shirt and have vkei standing there without color leakage. Something to think about. I don't know what color substituted would be better. :/

The belts don't give me a problem as much as the overall look and feel. (other commenters seem to like it so it may just be me.)
I don't know what it is, but it doesn't "ring". XU *can't explain*

I'll second Flower Girl. I like the design you did for hers, and I'd certainly wear one. I think I'd actually be more willing to buy shirts like these, since personally I don't really care for tees with catch phrases or much other writing one them.

Oh, I'll also put in a vote for Saccharine. Love the pink ;p

I am making the VK shirt now. I wish that I could have more colors involved, but as far as money is concerned...I think the more color the more expensive. X.x

Yeah, I was thinking of Clockwork....I love gears and now that this 'steampunk' fashion is becoming popular, I should go with the flow. :P

I own the Lilith one.
I'd definatly get the Jester one - very cute.
I'd like to see a Saccharine and/or Albino shirt, personally.
I liked the catch phrases, but I don't think they're neccesary.
Are you going to try and see if Hot Topic will make any more of these?

Yeah, I like the Lilith shirt myself. In the beginning, they pitched a goth shirt that had a catch phrase...but it really didn't fit the character. At all. So they took it off. :P

What I liked about the phrase on Lilith's shirt was that it served as a nice design element and wasn't just a phrase to be a phrase. If I were to add a phrase, I'd try to follow that concept.

No, I would probably not sell these ideas to Hot Topic. If I were to make these shirts a reality I would have to put my own money into it. Heh, or find a rich sponsor who believed in PM...but since that isn't in the equation I'll have to find my own way.

Ah, I really love them! The Jester one is extremely awesome, love the belt look with it, and the VK one is unique. I'd buy them in a heart beat.

I'd love to see Punk and Neoqueenhoneybee shirts.
